In 2025, We Celebrated Workers & Labor Allies!
A beautiful evening celebrating workers and labor allies, complemented by gorgeous views, dinner and live entertainment.
We had a blast at the Third Annual Workers Gala!
The program included the highly anticipated Skyline Deck reception, dinner with awards program and an afterglow with musical entertainment. Guests included officials from organized labor, government, WDI and AFL-CIO staff, community partners, and employers. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell did a fantastic job as our keynote speaker for this year's Workers Gala.
The stars of the evening were our honorees, who, with the help of MIWorks! services and our Apprenticeship Readiness Programs-- Access for All (AFA) and Women In Skilled Trades (WIST)-- have overcome significant obstacles while working toward thriving-wage, family-sustaining union careers.
