The program will include the highly anticipated Skyline Deck reception, dinner with awards program and an afterglow with live musical entertainment. Guests will include officials from organized labor, government, WDI and AFL-CIO staff, community partners, and employers. We are pleased to announce that Congresswoman Debbie Dingell will be our keynote speaker for this year's Workers Gala.
The stars of the evening will be our honorees, who, with the help of MIWorks! services and our Apprenticeship Readiness Programs-- Access for All (AFA) and Women In Skilled Trades (WIST)-- have overcome significant obstacles while working toward thriving-wage, family-sustaining union careers.
